The "Ferienhaus Waldhaus" has a beautiful secluded location at the edge of the forest of Föckinghausen, a small village close to Bestwig, in the nature park „Arnsberger Wald" (Arnsberg Forest).

The „Sauerländische Gebirgsverein“ takes care of an extensive network of trails in varied landscapes.

About one hour’s walk from our hotel, the new Lörmecke-tower has been built. It is situated at the highest point of the Arnsberg Forest (580m above mean sea level).

Enjoy a spectacular view across the altitudes of the Sauerland, the Haarstrang and the Westphalian bay up to the Teutonian Forest.
